There are four basic steps to the injection molding process.  Starting with the conversion of the hard granular pellets into the liquid consistency necessary for injection.  Second the melt is injected into the cavity or cavities of the mold.  Next the part is chilled in the mold to return the melt to its original rigid state.  The final step is the removal of the molded part from the mold cavity.
